Student Academic and LMS Policies
Welcome to the Spirit Temple University Policies page. This page provides students with important academic, LMS, communication, and course participation policies. Students are responsible for reviewing and following all university policies, course instructions, assignment expectations, and academic requirements provided by Spirit Temple University.
Academic Integrity
Students are expected to complete all coursework with honesty, integrity, and personal responsibility. Plagiarism, copying another student’s work, submitting work not personally completed, or misrepresenting academic work is not permitted. All assignments, discussions, quizzes, exams, and final assessments must reflect the student’s own learning and understanding.
Course Access and Enrollment
Students may only access courses in which they are officially enrolled. Course materials, lectures, assignments, exams, and LMS resources are for enrolled students only and may not be shared publicly or distributed outside the LMS without written permission from Spirit Temple University.
Use of Course Materials
Course books, course readers, lecture notes, recorded lessons, syllabi, quizzes, exams, and ministry training materials are protected academic resources. These materials are provided for the student’s personal academic and ministry development. They must not be copied, sold, uploaded, posted, or shared outside the university platform.
Monthly Guided Learning Model
Spirit Temple University uses a monthly guided learning model. Students are expected to participate in the learning structure provided for each course, including live lectures, recorded lectures, self-paced study, ministry application, assignments, quizzes, discussions, and final assessments as required.
The monthly structure may include:
- Week 1: Monthly live lecture or live cohort teaching session
- Week 2: Guided self-paced study with recorded lecture support
- Week 3: Continued guided self-paced learning with ministry application
- Week 4: Review, assessment, assignment submission, or final evaluation
Attendance and Participation
Students are expected to participate faithfully in live lectures, course discussions, assignments, and required academic activities. If a student cannot attend a live session, the student should review the recorded session when available and complete all assigned work within the required timeframe.
Assignments and Deadlines
Students are responsible for submitting assignments, quizzes, discussions, exams, ministry reflections, and final assessments by the posted deadlines. Late work may be subject to review according to the course instructions and university academic policy.
Grading and Assessment
Grades may be based on assignments, quizzes, discussions, exams, participation, ministry reflections, final projects, and other course requirements. Students should review the grading structure provided in each course syllabus and course shell.
Communication Policy
Students should use the LMS messaging system, approved email, or official support channels to communicate with faculty, advisors, and university staff. Communication should be respectful, clear, and related to academic or student support needs.
Technology and Account Responsibility
Students are responsible for maintaining access to their LMS account, internet connection, course materials, and required technology. Login information should be kept private. Students should report access issues or technical problems through the support center.

Students may request help through the appropriate support category, including:
- Faculty Support
